CYCLUS Group, a construction-specialist corporation with over 65 years of experience and an international reach, and ATADES have signed a partnership agreement to jointly promote initiatives aimed at fostering the social and labour market inclusion of people with disabilities.

The agreement was signed at CYCLUS Group’s offices in Madrid by Manuel Marín, board member of CYCLUS Operations, and Susana Álvarez, chair of ATADES; and it sets out various lines of action. These include participation in employment and workplace integration programmes for people with disabilities, the development of corporate volunteering and team-building activities, awareness-raising and guidance initiatives aimed at CYCLUS staff, and support for social and charitable projects and events organised by ATADES.

In terms of employment, both organizations will work to promote the hiring of people with disabilities at Grupo CYCLUS. This initiative will begin in Aragón and may be expanded to other autonomous communities, where the group is already carrying out similar initiatives and has professionals with disabilities integrated into its teams.

This agreement also brings together two organizations with complementary ties in Aragón and Madrid. ATADES, an organization based in Aragón, operates in a region where Grupo CYCLUS is headquartered and maintains a growing presence, building the infrastructure that supports artificial intelligence. At the same time, ATADES’ expansion into Madrid coincides with an area where the Group has been established for years, fostering new opportunities for collaboration between the two organizations.

According to Manuel Marín, “This agreement, as part of our ESG strategy, allows us to translate our social commitment into concrete and sustained actions. We share ATADES’s commitment to promoting equal opportunity and advancing inclusion in the regions where we operate.”

As for Susana Álvarez, president of ATADES, she noted that “the inclusion of people with disabilities is only possible when organizations move forward together. This agreement with Grupo CYCLUS means turning social commitment into real opportunities for employment, participation, and personal development. At ATADES, we particularly value the involvement of companies that view diversity as an asset and that contribute, through concrete actions, to building a more inclusive society for everyone.”

The agreement also provides for the joint organization of corporate volunteer activities, charity events, and other initiatives related to the occupational, care, educational, and social centers managed by ATADES in Spain. In addition, the organization may provide guidance and information to CYCLUS Group professionals when they or an immediate family member need advice regarding a recognized or recently diagnosed disability.

The collaboration framework will also allow both organizations to explore new ways of working together during its term, including potential opportunities related to future projects involving the construction, expansion, or renovation of facilities promoted by ATADES or affiliated entities.

Within the sports arena, Grupo CYCLUS will participate as a Gold Sponsor in the 5th ATADES – CEOE Aragón Empresas Solidarias Padel Tournament, one of the initiatives promoted by the organization to engage the business community in supporting its social causes. This participation complements the company’s involvement in the 3rd ATADES – CEOE Aragón Empresas Solidarias Golf Tournament, held last June in Zaragoza, with proceeds going toward scholarships for early and post-early intervention programs.

The agreement will have an initial term of one year, with the possibility of extension, and will allow for the gradual incorporation of new initiatives of mutual interest.
